Also in the area between Croveo and Goglio, the Osso cliff hosts the toughest climb released to date in Ossola Valley: Lapoterapia 8c, confirmed by various big players who have come to climb the cliff. It can be reached in 20 minutes from the Treno dei Bimbi (children’s train – a tourist village) in Croveo and is not very suitable for families.
The climb is very difficult and demanding, even on the simpler stretches. Ideal in winter and mid-season, it’s too hot in summer.
The grades range from 6a to 8c.
How to get there: follow signs for Antigorio Valley, then Alpe Devero up to the small village of Croveo. You can park near the Treno dei Bimbi.
