A cliff born out of a search for places with more shade to climb in the summer. The place is pleasant and decidedly untouched, immersed in the woods on the path from Esigo up to Goglio, ideal for families.
The climbing is all quite physical, even on the easier stretches, and technical on the slabs. The only drawback is that, being nestled in a forest, in summer the environment can be a bit damp. The best grip is when there’s a north wind.
The grades range from 5a to 8.
How to get there: follow signs for Antigorio Valley, then for Alpe Devero. On the road to Goglio, which goes up to Croveo, you can park after the second bridge over the river, before the barrier that marks off the private road to the village of Esigo.
