First held in 2010 and organised by the Stciupatell Folk Group, every year Beura’s Polenta Harvest Festival puts on delicious, simple and genuine menus, all with one strictly local ingredient in common: the corn flour made from the raw material grown in the fields of Lower Ossola.
Coarsely textured Beura polenta, made using stone-ground corn, brings to mind all the flavours of a bygone era; sample this delicacy at the annual harvest festival, which also offers its own little hobbies and crafts market.
