Grand Bücc Race is a race held in the Ossola Valley and included in the VCO Top Race circuit. It starts and finishes in the same locality, La Sotta, in the heart of the pinewood in Trasquera, a town in the Divedro Valley.
Athletes can choose between two different routes. The longest and most demanding of them is 31 km long with an elevation gain of 1423 metres, reaching the highest point on Monte Teggiolo at an altitude of 2385 metres. The shortest is 22 km long with an elevation gain of 1234 metres and a maximum altitude of 2179 metres at the Passo delle Possette (possible variations of the route every year. Grand Bücc Race is certainly one of the most exciting mountain races in the Ossola Valley, just a stone’s throw from the Swiss border, a splendid run through the unspoilt scenery of the Divedro Valley.
