Hiking – Around Antrona Lake

The church square in Antrona is the starting point of this route. Cross the village in the direction of the festival area and from here head towards Cimallegra, along a path on which traces of the ancient landslide are still very clear. Arriving at a paved road, continue in the direction of the hotel and from here onto the shore of the lake where the path called Giro Lago (Lake Route) begins. The route, one of the most fascinating passages of which is the spectacular stretch behind the Sajont waterfall, is characterised by impressive panoramic views. At the junction for the town of Ronco, take this direction, passing the characteristic village with its wisely renovated houses. Climbing to the chapel and along the Campliccioli path (C34 – C32), you once again descend to Antrona.
