In Motto-Funivia, on the Alpe Devero plain, in Antogorio Valley, you can visit the small Alpine Pasture Museum, built in the former Goglio – Devero cable car station, which is no longer in operation.
The museum was built in 2005 as part of a community initiative with the aim of appreciating the environment, trades and typical products of these mountains.
The Alpine Pasture Museum consists of a multimedia room and an area where traditional tools and iconographic material are exhibited, which make up an installation accompanied by explanatory panels.
The museum is one of the few centres to document alpine activities and its goal is to introduce tourists and walkers to the world of alpine pastures, including side events such as guided tours, festivals and parties, tastings and initiatives aimed at learning about everyday life and work in these high lands.
