In Antrona Schieranco, at an altitude of 1000 metres, Nordic skiing enthusiasts can enjoy one of the cross-country skiing pistes in the Val d’Ossola ski area (free entry and equipment for hire): a three-kilometre circuit with slight elevation differences that passes through a beautiful larch forest.
Nearby, there is an outdoor skating rink where you can rent skates.
Just beyond Antrona, in the Cheggio resort 1500 metres above sea level, next to a small village with wood and stone houses, there is a children’s paradise: a ski lift and two travelators serve easy, safe slopes, making this a truly family-friendly skiing resort.

The piste is equipped with a travelator that is ideal for children who want to learn to ski and for those who prefer to have fun on a bobsleigh or luge, while the second travelator is located at the arrival point of the ski lift.
