A very challenging alpine gorge, both in terms of water difficulty and technical difficulty, Rio Mondelli in the Anzasca Valley can only be completed in the summer months. The route has a rare beauty, carved out of the slopes of the imposing east wall of Monte Rosa.
The first part is simpler and more fun, but never boring. The second part is steeper and very technical.
