Points of interest: mountain villages of Crampiolo, Pedemonte and ai Ponti. The nature along the route is particularly fascinating: extensive forest (mainly larch), wide pastures, peat bogs, erratic boulders, prehistoric landslides. Don’t miss the Azzurro (Blue) or Streghe (Witches’) lakes and the Alpine Pasture Museum in Alpe Devero.
Useful info: There are several typical places to eat in Alpe Devero and Crampiolo. In Crampiolo there are also places to buy the famous Bettelmatt cheese and other typical dairy products.
