Ever since 2017, in Macugnaga, in Anzasca Valley, the winter season starts with an exciting event for little ones: an unforgettable encounter with the Ice Queen, to the backdrop of the Monte Rosa, at an altitude of 1,700 metres.
The event takes place at the Macugnaga cable car stop, which runs to and from Monte Moro, and features live shows for both adults and children.
There are many other activities organised alongside the event, like the gold nugget hunt in the Guia Mine, the visit to see the mountain elves Twergi in an ancient Walser dwelling, torchlight processions in the snow and much more to experience all the magic of Christmas in the heart of the old village of Macugnaga, a hidden treasure waiting to be discovered with the whole family.
